Hi forum lovelies

Im going to see a gp Thursday Morning, my mouth on 1 side is extremly painful constant ulcers partly due to tooth work possible sharp edge on tooth and ongoing abscess treatment for 1 month now threw dentist.
go dentist wed afternoon. so shall ask him file down sharp edge.

left lymph gland very painful even right ear also hurts, using ambesol pain relief.
and had a fainting lupus attack at start of church service yesterday along with lot RA pain hands last couple weeks.
with ongoing infection no steriods back on Naproxen had stopped and gee did i feel it to.

resulted in couple mornings waking up such pain stiffness couldnt get up timed at 1 hour then half hour.
walking and activity levels uped to maximise mobility movements.

facial rash lot lot calmer Planequil working well for face ,a weird one on tum that yesterday also looked infected so show gp this thursday if still problem.

keeping upbeat postive attitude.
fatigue has improved lupus wise with Planequil,Morning stiffness has improved with naproxen and Planequil but Pain levels went up to unbearable.

got to ask re 3 monthly ESR/CRP bloods due.

so that should show infection and also how Planequil/Naproxen is helping RA/Lupus .

Oh Melly - this all sounds so dreadful - I don't know how you manage to stay so positive. Was Thursday the first appoinmtment you could get?

Melly, it seems that you are putting up with an awful lot. As Julie said, would it not be possible to be seen at gp sooner? Definitely need to see if dentist can help re tooth. Mouth ulcers can be so painful, and dont need that on top of all the problems with lupus, RA and fibro. Sending (((((hugs))))) take care, and keep us updated

Hi Melly

Like the girls say you really need to see the GP as an urgent case, and at the least have a word with him on the phone and then he will know how poorly you are just now.

Hope you get things on the go asap

Take care, Julia x

Hi Melly
as you may or may-not know I have been with-out a computer for quite a few weeks now I am using my daughters lap top at the moment as she is out
you had the problem with the tooth before my computer broke I was shocked to see you still are having the same problems
the only thing I would do in your shoes is to have all my teeth taken out
I know it would be a bit painful for a week or so but in the end you wouldent have all the problems you are having now
take care

Melly

I am so sorry that you are still suffering with your toothache and mouth problems. It must be really wearing you down.

I don't know about you but my joints have been a lot worse over the last few days and I wonder if the weather has anything to do with it. I am feeling completely weighed down and wonder if it is the increased pressure on the barometer and the humidity. I felt the same last year.

You really should see your GP sooner than Thursday if possible. The people who really need to see the doctor rarely make a fuss when they are told they need to wait a few days but maybe now is the time to stand up and shout that you need some help.

I hope you start to feel better sooner.

Hi Jackie

Funny you should mention worse over last few days, me too, however saw GP this morning. His brother has arthritis of the spine, and he is very understanding - very fortunate. Anyway he mentioned over the last few days air pressure high and humidity can play a detrimental part. Just goes to show.

Hi Melly

I'm sad to see you're still suffering, it's taking al ong time to get it sorted. You must be really fed up, as well as being in a lot of pain.

I hope you can see either your GP or dentist soon to relieve the suffering.

Hello Melly I couldn't get on the Forum yesterday, I'm sorry to read about your on going problems, it's been going on a very long time. I find that things like you having trouble with your teeth do have the knock on effect of causing the RA or Fybro or whatever to flare, it happens to me a lot. If I have a bout of Virtigo or when I've had surgery it really brings me down and then the others flare up, it's all you need on top of everything. I was also thinking that when I leave off the Naproxen, which I try to do so that I can give my body a break because of the stroke and heart attack risk, then I feel all of me is more on edge, even my teeth. It's rotten Melly isn't it, I think even this hot weather is making things worse. I hope if your mouth gets sorted out then you may start to pick up a bit.Glenys.x

Hi Melly

Sorry to hear you are going through the mill at the moment. I had a problem with a sharp tooth and because I bit it the tongue swelled. Dentist says its normal that if you bit your tongue once you keep doing it as the tongue swells. So thankfully that can be sorted quite quickly. Do you think because of the warm weather its antagonising the mouth problems.

Naughty kitty. Hope you enjoyed your film...

Poor you - good luck. Pin your doctor to the ground and insist on antibiotics before you leave the surgery. You cannot go on like this.
You really need to get yourself in better health for your end of year plans. You are going to have to start jumping up and down (figuratively speaking) and insisting that you are sorted sooner rather than later and tell them why.

My joints are definitely suffering from the heat so I sympathise.

Will keep you in my thoughts for tomorrow.

dentist took good look xrayed and tooth infection has completley healed,so lot work done hour half work......

there was a reason sore mouth tongue well 2#
1 )the tooth had sharp peice on tongue side
2 )the instruments used had casued trauma to floor of mouth causing another ulcer to use salty water.

so im dribbly do da tonight had 3 local ansthetics. lol
hubby was there waiting what a relief Ra not good.

so off docs tomorrow possible sinus infection as upper cheek swollen feels very full
